...For a new laptop!
The one I use now, works still, but their is a lot of latency, since it is a single core.
Basically, I need it to run ONLY a program/hardware called "Serato" The specs for it are as follows, but I would like a laptop above and beyond the min specs
:
" What are the minimum specs for Scratch LIVE?
Mac
* 1 GHz G4
* 1 GB RAM
* OSX 10.3.9 or higher
* Intel Macs require Scratch LIVE version 1.5 or higher
Windows
* 1.5 GHz PC
* 1 GB RAM
* Windows XP with Service Pack 2 or higher
* Windows Vista requires Versions 1.7.2 or higher
* Windows XP and Vista support is limited to 32 bit installations read more
* We recommend Windows XP over Vista read more"
I would like to stay windows... but would go over to mac as well...
I found a couple laptops:

is a refurbished laptop not a good idea?
My budget is anything... the lower the better, but I wouldn't run from an expensive laptop. It just needs to work with Serato. Would like a 15.4" screen but would go smaller... Need it to be compact for road trips and such. Dosn't need a Huge hard drive, as My external holds all of my music. and would prefer to stay away from AMD processors.
Thanks guys.
