OK, I want aware of the idea of a poll, so before the first one gets too far, here where we continue this discussion. Which do you prefer, MAC or PC?

Lets get some constructive criticism here. If you only like PC, what don't you like about MAC? If you only like MAC, what don't you like about PC?

I prefer PCs.... Macs are really good and all, great quality and customer service, but they have compatibility issues with printers and wireless adapters.... They are also overpriced as hell.......

This is not true. Macs support printing over LDAP and IP so basically they can print just about any network printer. They also support CUPS, and gimp print.

Wireless adapters, they have their own kind, called airport and its built in to almost every system, and they are compatable with about every wireless AP out there.

Also, go price out a new dell with the same specs as a mac pro and the mac pro is actually $300.00 cheaper. I didn't believe it myself until I actually did it. Make sure you use the crestwood chips since the mac pros use them (1Gig bus).

Their OS sucks, their price point sucks, their whiteness look sucks, apple in general sucks, ipod sucks therfore macs suck.

And Steve Jobes totally sucks!

I enjoy tweaking/upgrading and generally playing with computers in everyway. So I prefer PC, although I do admit my expierence with MACs is imited. Only bad part about PC's is obvious stability problems and OS problems. Around every turn seems issues of some sort. You have to be somewhat proficient at troubleshooting just to own a PC without constantly dialing up tech support or on the other side in many cases our parents and friends asking us. :D

Oh well. PC's for me.

I picked PC because I am a tweak freak and am familiar with the ins and outs of windows since I've used every windows version since 95. I like to customize anything and everything that is customizeable.
The only thing I really like about Mac is the interface, I like the zoom toolbar at the bottom (I have one on my PC at the top). I like the silver/blue color scheme of the Mac. I also like that it takes better advantage of high-resolution displays. XP still mainly uses 32x32 icons (Vista fixes this) while you can have nice high res Mac icons (I use progs to force XP to use higher res icons).
