Three Video Cards

the whole fuss about 8x and 16x is totally overrated.
as far as i know most video cards hardly utilize the 8x.
maybe some of them out there that might require 16x if you want to utilize them to their full potential but i haven't seem them yet.

Well it's like going from 2 to 3... 2<3, So I guess three wins...:p

Two GPUs over one is substantial. This is true, yet, moving from two to three isn't as significant. I cannot find a board that can run the third PCIe x16 slot at max 16 lanes. For example this motherboard as the Triple SLI feature but cannot run the third lane at max.

Three cards is still better than two but the step isn't nearly as big as the step from one to two.
