I dont think the fx chip is worth buying now!! There no way Im going to buy fx 60 for 800-1000.00 when i can build a faster and cheaper PC. GO CONROE!!!!!!:)

agreed, amd is crap when conroe comes out
 
blah blah blah. and when Amd Comes out with its new chips you people will be saying conroe is crap. well its still a good deal for people with amd 939 systems and im gonna take advantage of it

Why do you go on about a product that isn't even out yet, or fully developed? Why do you state something with no evidence to back it up? How do you actually know that AMD will come out with a better chip?

Stop complaining about the fact that Intel have actually designed and made a CPU which outruns AMD's current line of CPU's. Face the fact, and get over it.

I'm sorry to burst your little bubble of denial; but, look at the past. What chance is there that AMD won't cough up at least an equally competitive chip?
Also, no one complained about Intel at all... metstalker tagged you for defending Conroe like it's your precious, and you fell scalp deep into it.
So, quit that holier-than-thou get-up. No one is bitter other than you, and that's just because your raging hormones are looking for an argument. :D Face yourself, and grow up.


EDIT: That being said, I've never owned an AMD proc, and will be buying a 3200+ sckt939 within a week.

We all know that eventually AMD will create something better then the Core 2 Duo. But as of now, they do not have anything available yet.

Haha, firstly, Conroe isn't my precious... Also, that was the first time I had posted in this topic, so he wasn't referring to me.
Secondly, if anything, I have preferred AMD over Intel since I ever started building PC's. They've been my number one choice for every single build. Even the PC's I sell to people are AMD.

Thirdly, I didn't say AMD won't come out with something better. I'm just not preaching around, saying that AMD is definately going to come out with something so big it makes Conroe look like a piece of crap.

Fourthly, I don't seek out arguements when I fancy, and I'm definately not looking for one now.

rambo your comparing new tech with old and speaking as though they are on level playing fields but my point was. since i dont have daddys money the throw on a new mb and chip i will settle for a lower price 939 that is still a great performance chip. enough said moron
