Ubuntu/Vista dual boot

I have vista already installed (With data on it) and am following this guide:

http://apcmag.com/how_to_dualboot_vista_with_linux_vista_installed_first.htm

I followed the guide...first of all making a new partition, which looks like ths:

Then I booted from the Ubuntu disk, and followed through all the steps. On the final step, where I had the option to install, it gave a summary of the installation options, and said:
WARNING: This will destroy all data on any partitions you have removed as well as on the partitions that are going to be formatted.

The partition tables of the following devices are changed:

SCSI1 (0,0,0) (sda)

The following partitions are going to be formatted:

partition #5 of SCSI1 (0,0,0) (sda) as ext 3
partition #6 of SCSI1 (0,0,0) (sda) as swap

But basicaly I don't want to lose any data on the existing vista partition, so I want to be sure that the partition it installs to is the one I made. How can I be sure?

(I selected "Guided - use the largest continuous free space" for the install option as the guide suggested, but I'd like a second opinion.)

Does anyone know if I can check the names of my partitions (from disk management) against those given in the installation summary?

The following partitions are going to be formatted:

partition #5 of SCSI1 (0,0,0) (sda) as ext 3
partition #6 of SCSI1 (0,0,0) (sda) as swap

I don't want to end up formatting my vista/data partition.

jsut download linux gparted disk manager and it will tell you and show yoi what your drive looks like and help you partition it. I have been using it for a few years and I love it.
