Un-deletable file.....

Not sure if this is in the right place or not, but hey.......

I have a file that is 1.1Gb in size, pretty big for just 1 file..... I want to delete becaus eit serves no purpose and i want my 1Gb back. I got to delete it and it says its in use, cannot delete blah blah blah. Ive checked in proceses and its not in use. Ended every process that i didnt know the name of and it still wont delete, started in safe mode and tried to delete it but it wont delete there either.

I really cant delete this massive file, HELP!!!

Lol, aaahhhhhh crap, shudda blurred that out. He he, erm, i scanned with AVG free and it came up fine. So i cant see it being a virus, maybe it is but just a very good one, i havent had any negative symptoms as of yet....

*EDIT* - And a 1.1Gb Virus, thats a bit of a nasty one isnt.... Arent they usually as small as possible....

PS, take a new ss and blur it out, lol

I got a file from download.com and when i ran it, it kept getting bigger and bigger and eventually it would take up all the space on my HD!

Try making a new user account, and then try getting into your documents from that account and see if it will delete.

i tried the new user account, but it said it was in use again,which was a bitch... i then downloaded Move On Boot recommended by elmarco and it's gone BRILLIANT, i got my 1Gb back. Thanks guys, you dont know how long ive put up with that being there, t just got on my nerves today and thought i would post it, lol.....

Killbox :D

anybody ever heard of killbox, its free. just google killbox and donwload any of the hundred million results, run it, select the file, and press delete! it works every time. if it says cannot delete file, just open killbox again, and select the file again, and then press delete of reboot. then, no da, reboot. this should solve all of your problems :D

Glad you got it fixed... Iwas about to mention MoveOnBoot, but it seems elmar came in earlier and beat me to it! Dang you! :P

That would be the Royale theme for windowblinds, a quick search on wincustomize will find it for you.

Download it and then select to have the "thin start bar" in windowblinds.
