Well i came to the same conclusion, i knew that you would not change it, so that people can contact other people with similar systems and get advice. Ofcourse thats great, I just wanted to make a more comprehensive list of parts, so that others can see, compare and have an idea of what they can expect if they were to buy these parts. Im not trying to take anything away from your thread, instead im trying to give something back to the members that have helped me. I believe because of the competative nature of your thread that, the people who post replys are (usually) the ones who have high scores. This does not help the members that dont want to spend hundreds and hundreds and those people who may want to game very little, should still have the opportunity of getting the best parts for the money. e.g i was helping someone a couple of days ago, he was not wanting to do much gaming, so he told me he wanted a 9400gt as it was the cheapest card, not understanding for 5 dollars more he could get a 9600gt, he did not think there would be a big difference. Maybe OMEGA you can be the first to help me by posting me some scores of whatever systems you have? plz

This wont work because it is not accurate. it is not accurate because the score also depends on the motherboard, ram(size, speed, timings, etc) hard drive speed, if their graphics drivers are installed, OS.

EDIT: i dont think omega's thread is competitive at all. look who hold the lowest score.

Also doesn't show user names

+1. That's probably the biggest mistake you've made. No names? What is this? You can always make something up and post it. I'll just keep looking at Omega's thread because this one is really not in order and not necessary to have.

Also if they overclocked their video card, there are just too many variables to include here.

Shlouski sent me a PM earlier telling me about this, and he feels that if you do not have user names that people would be more willing to post their scores as you aren't competing with anyone in particular. His hope was to get more people with low/mid-range setup to post scores.

As I said to him in the reply, it's my opinion that with user names, someone with a similar setup can find out who it was that received that score, and talk to him to find out how he achieved it.
