I currently run a i-5 3570 3.4 gZ, 16gb ram, windows 7, 1080p montior (60hz), gtx 950 mini 2gb( I don't oc ever). Using battlefield 1 as the example I play on low settings with mesh on ultra and I easily get 60fps, but going to medium on everything causes my fps to fluctuate (45-60). Building a computer with an i7, gtx 1060, 120Hz monitor etc is going to cost over 1k. I want to know if upgrading to something like a gtx 1060 3gb or 6gb or even bigger or smaller , ie 1050 or 1070 series(assuming I can, not sure how to tell if it can), will that give me a significant boost. I know I'll bottleneck my cpu, but if I could say run on high that would be awesome. I play other games to and usually play in low-medium settings. If there is any information that you guys can provide to help me I would appricate it.
