Upgrade gpu or build new computer

Would I have to uninstall my current gtx 950 drivers or will the nvidia experience app update it for me

Just install the latest Nvidia driver and do a clean install of it.. Current as of today is: version 381.65 (4/5/2017)

What do you mean a clean install. When I installed the gtx 950. I uninstalled everything and put the disk in and that install the nvidia experience. So if I put either the evga one in or the msi one can I just straight upgrade it

You don't want to use the included cd as it will have outdated software/drivers with it. Always download the latest from the manufacturer, in this case Nvidia.

Install will give you option to do 'custom install' and you can choose 'clean install' that will remove any old and install the latest fresh for you.

Don't use discs, always d/l from Nvidia most current!!
