I have a Garmin Etrx that I plugged into my computer while it was still attatched to my pants clip. I got up for something and it pulled the computer off the couch, bent the GPS end of the USB to 90 degrees, and ripped the cord out of the port on the computer. After checking to make sure the GPS was fine (still worried), I checked the computer. it seemed fine but I realized one of the USB ports ( the one it was plugged into) isn't working PROPERLY.
When I plug my Garmin into that slot it powered up and said it was connected. But the computer never read it. Nothing popped up, it isn't under computer.
FYI: When the USB cord is plugged into the GPS alone nothing happens, when I connect it to the computer it boots up. Which means the USB is still atleast sending power through. Just no data.
