Okay how come the prices of two identical card will be diff. because one is PCI-e and the other is AGP.. But PCI-e cards seem cheaper than AGP card for the most part, but AGP is older shouldn't it be cheaper??

You pretty much hit the nail on the head there. AGP is legacy technology, so manufacturers produce much more of the popular PCI-E x16 based video cards over the AGP 8x.No, it's obsolete so the manufacturers make less of them or don't make them at all. Therefore there's less supply, so prices usually rise assuming there is still demand.
That was true not too long ago, but the newer cards show improvements with the PCI-E x16 slots over the 8x AGP slots.but i thought at 8x thats more thana enough speed for cards.... just like Ram the new type ram the DDR2 type ram i thought there is no need for all that 16X speed??
