Hi, I recently tried to upgrade my PC from XP Home to XP Pro with SP2 but I aborted the install when it said it couldn't install a certain file (meaning the OS wouldnt work properly).
Now everytime I restart my PC my video cards fail to start. In the device manager they both have the yellow exclamation mark next to them and in the properties its says 'The device cannot start. (Code 10)'. The card is a Radeon X600 256MB HyperMemory. I can uninstall it and then reinstall it and it works fine but once I turn the machine off it goes back to the same state. Ive tried installing the latest drivers but it made no difference. Ive tried going into my BIOS as I heard it may have something to do with IRQ settings but found no options for anything like this in my BIOS. The options for the video card were very limited in the BIOS. I would really appreciate some help on this issue as it is really buging me. Many Thanks
P.S. The machine is Dell Dimension 5150
