That looks like a mini-IDE connection.
But there is a USB port also,so would the drive work by just plugging in the USB port or IDE would also be necessary.
I did not take the drive apart so did not know whether the external case was also connected to the mini IDE or not.
It looks rather too large to be micro USB to me, must be more zoomed in that I am grasping.
Maybe a silly question, couldn't you just use a USB->Micro USB to connect it? I'm looking for a converter that will let you use it as an internal drive but there's nothing coming up.
