Everything
I use my Netbook for everything because it's all I have.
When I listed my
actual needs (not advertising type needs/dreams) my list contained internet, photos, music, various docs and that's it.
It made no sense to spend big money on a Notebook when a much cheaper Netbook would do all that.
Many of my friends and relatives are switching to Netbooks as their only computer when they need a new one because they really have no need for a Desktop or a bigger Notebook.
As an example, my cousin had an old Desktop and an old 16" Notebook, his 2 kids were always fighting over who could use the Notebook in their room to 'study' (yeah sure

) and he mainly used the Desktop for internet, photos and to keep records of where his money went etc.
When it came time to replace the old computers he bought 3 Netbooks for less than the price of a Desktop and a 16" Notebook. Now his kids each have their own Netbook and are responsible for it and he has everything he needs on a Netbook he can put in a drawer.
Most of my relatives don't have a great deal of interest in computers, they just want them to work, or as my other cousin said when I tried to explain a computer problem to her:
"My refrigerator is the most important appliance in my house! How much interest do I have in my refrigerator? None!
I want a computer that works, that's all!"
Having said that, my next computer will probably be a 10" Tablet but that will not be before 2 years (warranty period for my Netbook) and hopefully there will be great improvements to Tablets by then, plus the price should have drooped a lot
