I'd just like to know,. what happens if you pull out the Sata cable of the hdd windows is on? (or, maybe not pull it out, but a loose contact or so, I gues you get my point) does anyone have any kind of review or so about what a pc does then?

it will crash very shortly. Probably something will try to access the page file and fail. There will be no lasting hardware damage

hmm... I asked because the sata cable of my hdd wasnt really, well, tight in its socket. replaced the cable with one that came with the motherboard, and it fits much better. and I did have had problems with my pc occasionally freezing. (completely random.. wich was the odd thing) so maybe thats settled now then ^^

Most current SATA drives/motherboards allow SATA drives to be hot swappable, so unless it's your primary hard drive, nothing should happen.

correctly assumed ^^ only have 1 in my pc atm
Ok so if you remove the primary drive when the computer on, it will crash (obviously), however as APJ said it shouldn't cause any permanent damage, except for maybe a few corrupt files if it was writing to them while it was disconnected.

I don't think they do unless you are running the controller in AHCI mode.

Removing the cable may screw things up if the drive has cached information not written to the disk it should be fine though.
