I'm looking for something around (or less than) $100. I don't need O/C options, nor do I need USB 3, SATA 6 or onboard GPU.
What would you recommend ?

It could do the trick.
Regarding memory standard it says it can take DDR3 1866 MHz by OCing but it says nothing about 1600 MHz, will it work as well ? And how do you OC, is it a risky thing to do if you don't know anything about it ?

I was thinking about the ASUS M4A79XTD EVO in the 1st place because it takes DDR3 1600 memory without OCing anything and costs only 5 more euros than the GA-870A-UD3 at the shop I'm going to buy it at.
Do you rate the Gigabyte more than the Asus or is it because the Asus is $20 + at Newegg ?

what they mean by oc is that in the bios you just change the speed from 1333 to 1600 or 1800 if it does not run at 1600 when you first install your ram. It is not that hard to change but I'd bet that it will be just fine.

Thanks for that!

That's probably a silly question but I've downloaded the manual of that board and in the memory qualified vendors list there are 3 G Skill references :
* F3-12800CL9D-2GBNQ
* F3-12800CL8T-6GBHK
* F3-12800CL9T-6GBNQ
The one I'm buying is F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL.
What do the 2 last letters mean ? Can there be compatibility issues ?

Those are model numbers, I believe, and your model isn't listed. You should be fine. :)
