You should run Ubuntu with XBMC on it.

My TV is old and only 27 inches. If I bought a new TV, and I may soon since they are getting so damn cheap now, I may look into something more fancy. Of course I need to rebuild the box as it will need a new PSU, new video card, and new RAM to go along with my unused proc and mobo.

Right now its an AMD 3400+ with 3gigs of RAM running XP. All it does is audio and video play back so its not like it needs to be powerful.

Yeah I wonder why microsoft has pretty much given up on XP. Windows 7 is to new for people to have it yet not even I have seen it yet or used it

XP 32-bit FTW. Never had any reason to upgrade, not sure I will any time soon. It works, its reliable, everything else works with it, and I didn't pay a dime for it.

I use Vista 64bit Ultimate for my main OS but I just recently bought VMWare Worstation 6.5 so I also have Virtualized XP Pro and trying to virtualize OSX 10.4.
