Whats the thing that annoys you the most inside of your computer.

Mine would be those stupid Molex connectors, they just realy get on my nerves and are sometimes so damn hard to conect to each other if you have Molex cable splitter.

also the damn wires keep comming out of their connections on some:mad:

Just look at the damn thing its so ugly

whats your rant? :D

Poorly partitioned Hard Drives... <twitch>

For the actual components aspect...I'd have to say fan pins that aren't close to the edge of the board and you have wires needlessly sprawling out.

Like said above, the idiots that design the boards. Putting fan/USB headers in the middle of the board. Placing the CPU 4/8 power connector on the other side of the CPU mount. Putting the IDE/Sata connectors straight across from the Video slot.

Well, first is the molex connectors for some fans and the lights on my case (see pics in sig for idea of light setup). Just today, my lights in the front were flickering. I knew the cable was loose. I pulled the connector out and had to use needle-nose pliers to get it back in the hole.

Second is layout. My SATA ports are in a REALLY bad spot (right between an IDE port and the chipset fan). Add the fact that my videocard hangs over the chipset fan.

Fat IDE cables are another. Thank god for SATA.

Front panel + USB + Audio headers. They're SO annoying to connect. Everytime I connect them i either come out with random cuts on my hand or a bent motherboard pin.

i have an two IDE hard drives and an IDE DVD burner. i dont have a problem NOT using my second IDE hard drive, but i do anyways because my IDE port is on the exact bottom of the motherboard, way out of reach. i would have to pull a massive IDE cable around my 8800GT, two hard drives, the mobo power connector, so i dont use dvd's any more until i buy a SATA one, but THEN i have to deal with the fact that four sata ports are partly covered by my 8800GT

feeling like the ram will shatter under you hands and the electronics will sink into your hand when you try to install ram. but it's not so much the ram shards painfully sinking into my hand that's the problem. the bigger problem is that when that happens, my blood might short my mobo. that is SO much worse:P

eather installing the stupid cooler which keeps trying to eather break my motherboard form the stress or my finger. or too much wireing and no where to put it

Agreed!! Also, small and stock cases!! They are way too small. LOL and im using a stock HP case right now.

MOLEX theyre so cheap and the ones for the fans in my case have random pins falling out all the time. also the IDE ribbon cable for my dvd drive, those make cable management difficult, but i ordered a round uv green ide cable :) also my case door is made of incredibly cheap plastic and my case just fails in general..... apevia is no good

Front panel connectors, some companies think its funny to switch the colors around for positive and negative :(

i definitely know your frustrations with that..... or in my case the power switch cable was cut and missing the connector, it was juts bare wire.

yeah my front LED's cord is too short to reach the motherboard, i dont know who the hell designs these things but i do know they dont test them...

Definately feeling like I'm going to shatter my motherboard when installing the cpu heatsink/fan. Never heard of anyone actually snapping one in two though. I suppose anyone who's done it isn't likely to tell everyone about it. :)
