Thanks a lot, I think I will try to build it myself I'll post the stuff I am gonna buy to see what other stuff I may need. Thanks very much everybody, you have helped me a lot.
You know, a truly high performance PC purchased from a vendor will cost you, at the very least, $4,000. My configuration (see signature) was approximately $3725. If you're lucky, you will receive $2,500 worth of hardware from an OEM/vendor. Then, you have the "limited warranty," bloatware pre-installed on your expensive PC, and other miscellaneous headaches. Although the problems novice system builders (such as myself) experience should not be underestimated, they are usually easily fixed.
Before you build a system, do more research. Become more familiar with how all the components piece together. Have some confidence. The last thing you want, is to have $4,000 worth of hardware, and not know what to do with it!
Cheap 10,000 RPM hard drives should appear next year. This speed will probably become standard.
As far as my overclocking, I'm beginning to witness some stability problems. I haven't run Prime95 for the 24-48 hrs. that's recommended (I ran it for 2 1/2). I plan on reseating my heatsink tomorrow. Temps and VCore are too high.
IF you want to go pre-built try out vigorgaming.com . They did a nice job on my new build. Next time I may try to build my own to save cash, but if not I will definitely go back to Vigor.
