well.. ive recently bought a new cpu Fan (coolermaster dual storm).
its not a month old. I bought it, cuz it had 2 fans, so in case of failure my cpu would still be cooled.
but now, 1 blade of the front fan broke by normal use. it hit a second blade of the first fan, so that 2nd blade blocked the first fan. the first piece was found in the 2nd fan. so both fan's were blocked at the same time.
i wasnt in my room when it happend (was away for 3 hours). when i came back, i started IL2 FB (combat flight sim.) i played about 5 min when it started to smell like fried components. i emediately pulled the plug, and screwed open the case. when i looked, i saw comming smoke behind the cooling block. half the cooling paste wasnt white anymore. and when i restarted it (after half an hour) the Led's kept being red (diagnostic led system) and when i pulled off the cpu, the sticker at the back was completely black.
what i wanted to ask, who is respnsible for this? I mean. the Fan broke down by normal use.
shall i go back to the shop where i bought it? (Mediamarkt) or should i try it by coolermaster itself?
