does it have compatibility issues or what?

I don't have widescreen and never used it for gamming. It would probably be wonderful just because there is more on the screen at once, but realize this is only for games that support it. Older games will be capped at 3:2 resolutions.
The reason I never even considered getting widescreen on any of my systems, it's HORRIBLE for internet and other such applictions. Websites are typcially designed for 3:2(say 1024x768) I can't think of a wide resolutions now, but we'll just say 1640x768(give me a break, I just woke up) Now, you have all that extra space on either side. Some people might not mind... I donno
I bought that 37" LCD HD widescreen today and it's all good. Little bright. Kinda annoying that I have to let it auto config between games and windows. But my games run at 1024x768 full screen with no stretching and windows desktop is 1920x1080. I think FEAR IS making me motion sick damnit. Everyone told me so but I HAD to have the 37" LCD. Luckily I can return it up to 45 days for a full refund.
