I'm hoping I can give enough information to solve this problem, b/c it has be confused.
My mom has a Dell computer, which we recently moved out of the house, and into an apartment. She has a Linksys, WMP11 - Wireless-B PCI Adapter in her desktop. She also has a plug on her motherboard that I could cable into the wall if we didn't need wireless.
The wierd thing is, that whether I try to connect wirelessly, or cabled to the wall, when I go under 'network connections', i dont see any connections. I used to see 3... 2 for ports on the motherboard, and 1 wireless. Now I dont see any.
So I cant connect wirelessly or cabled into the wall. I went under the Wireless-B Adapter's Utility, and it said that it's "inactive", but there is no option to activate or fix.
Any suggestions? I hope I've given enough info to fix the problem, b/c this is all I know... I cant really call Time Warner's Road Runner (internet provider), Linksys, or Dell, b/c I dont know who the issue is with.
Thanks in advance,
Taylor
