but I don't see how it beats the AMD thought,
That mobo doesn't support Core 2s. Here's one that does: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813135022. Plenty of others, depending on your budget: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...tyCodeValue=0&Submit=Property&SubCategory=280OK, from what I'm told, heres a new list
MOBO-$65-ASUS P5ND2-SLI Socket T (LGA 775) NVIDIA nForce 4 SLI Intel Edition ATX Intel Motherboard - OEM

No need for the extra HSF, particularly if your on a tight budget.Heatsynk-$27- http://www.xoxide.com/tt-silent-775.html (got a 4.8 out of 5 in rating)
That's a somewhat overpriced, questionably marketed, 7600GS. A 7600GT would be a better choice: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814133150. If that's a little expensive, a 7600GS can be found at a much cheaper price, but is less than balanced for a Core2 based gaming system: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814143054GPU-$119- 7600GT (maybe I'l get it-I'll have to save up) http://www.provantage.com/xfx-pvt73puds3~7PINE05V.htm

not necessarily, some games are more dependant on cpu's, some on ram, some on gpu's, fear is a heavy-hitter all around, so yeah, DO worry about the cpu, it's imortant... not like you could run f.e.a.r. on a amd 2700 @1.6ghzAn X2 3800 would probably do just as well. You should worry more about the video card than the processor.
Are you serious... Did you even look at that page? Will this MOBO support Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E6300

Please say it will!!!!!!!
Games hit all around, but the vga card is your main priority, the 7300 cards are all crap and don't perform too well at all, they are budget cards for the every now and then game.So trust me and everyone else who tells you the 7300 card is garbage, cuz its the only truth about it.And yeah, that mobo does support C2D.I hope we're being paid service for helpin ya out so much .BUT!I would not buy that mobo if you buy an nvidia card, thats a crossfire mobo so you can only crossfire 2 ATI cards, you should find an SLI board unless you plan on going ATI.
