Will this work and your recommendations

Any inclination for a Z series motherboard? Typically they give you the OC features and similar, while H is a more basic platform.

Basically H is Z without overclocking, and the K part at the end of CPU name means it's unlocked and ready for OC. However, no non-K variant has been released as of yet.
If you intend to overclock, I'd recommend finding a Z170 board.

Why not go with the ASRock Z170 Pro4 I mentioned? Same kind of money but you get the Z170 chipset which allows both CPU and GPU overclocking. Or the Gigabyte board I mentioned is also a good option.

750W PSU is overkill too, a 650W PSU will do it fine.

Agreed, however at $60 I would choose that PSU as it is a good quality one at a good price with nice overhead for later GPU purchases etc.

The ram you listed is out of stock and I would suggest populating both ram slots as that way it will run in dual-channel. You can get two of these www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820226735 which have a lower latency of 12 rather than 15 and will run you 8GB in dual channel.
