This computer will be mostly for gaming with a bit of photoshop, video editing and overall gfx. I'm wanting it to play game like BF3 (ultra settings or close to it), Skyrim (ultra settings) and next-gen games. This rig also needs to be future proof in terms of being able to play those next-gen games but i assume that will need an I7 with it's hyper-threading capabilities. There will also be moderate over-clocking and hopefully i will watercool this rig. Here are the components:
Windows Professional ( I am only getting this as i may consider upgrading to 32gb in the future; i will also be getting the OEM version seeing as i am a system builder.)
Corsair Special White Edition Graphite Series 600T Mid-Tower Gaming Case
Sony AD-7280S-0B 24x Internal SATA DVD Multi Writer Black
I5-3570k (Mainly for the over-clocking and the good price drop over the I7-3770k)
Corsair Hydro Series H100 Extreme Performance CPU Cooler
Corsair Force Series 3 120GB Solid State Drive
Western Digital Caviar Black 1 TB 7200 RPM Internal Hard Disk Drive
EVGA GeF GTX 670 2GB GDDR5 Graphic Card
Corsair Vengeance 16GB (8x2) 1600MHz CL10 DDR3
TP-Link TL-WN851N Wireless N PCI Adapter
Asus Sabertooth Z77 Motherboard
Corsair Enthusiast Series Modular TX750M PC Power Supply
Asus 24-inch VH242H Wide Gaming LCD TFT Monitor
BTW, I love Corsair...
Also are there any ways to make this cheaper without sacrificing processing power?
