Hi
I am trying to dual boot my Windows 7 64bit with XP. I tried just inserting the install disc and clicking "Install Windows XP" from the popup window, but it is either grayed out (can't click it) or when I can, another window pops up saying something along the lines "We have determined your version of windows is newer then the one you're about to install. We won't let you."
How do I install XP?
I already have partitioned my HDD (I even have a blank second HDD) ready to have xp installed on. These two HDD are SATA, not IDE.
I told my teacher the problem and she said to try with CMD by writing "Run (Drive letter of DVD writer)/autorun.exe (Drive letter of empty partition)"
Is this how, or not. Am I missing steps? Thanks.
