What model of printer is it? Without knowing that, really can't answer. But it would be in your best interest to upgrade to windows 10 since its still free to do so.
Not purchase printer yet. Thanks for the advice so far.Thank you
I can guarantee they didn't. All you need to do is go here and click on update now.Microsoft ended the free upgrade years ago to Windows 10.
That doesn't give you any information at all. Microsoft has been selling Windows 10 primarily as a download for years. It would work at full function for 30 days before telling you to pay up.I can guarantee they didn't. All you need to do is go here and click on update now.
You can activate 10 with a 7 key. Full stop. That doesn't give you any information at all. Microsoft has been selling Windows 10 primarily as a download for years. It would work at full function for 30 days before telling you to pay up.
Not to mention most people that need to re-install windows would want to use the latest version and not use one that's been on a flash drive or other storage device for perhaps years without an update.
I guess "paid up" means a viable license number. I don't mess with computers much other than my own, so recycling MS window licenses didn't occur to me. Hehe. You can activate 10 with a 7 key. Full stop.
My current 10 Pro license was lifted off a Dell Workstation with 7 Pro on it that was in the recycle. Tied it to my MS account and everything. Used to have Home, which also was a 7 key I bought.
Also did it hundreds of times when I worked in a shop.
