I just got a Samsung SyncMaster 206BW, and I tried to install the drivers from the disc that came with it, and everytime I start my computer I get a message that says something to the effect of "did not pass Windows Logo testing" and there are two buttons "Continue Anyway" or "Stop installation". I always click "Continue Anyway" then another box pops up that says FILES NEEDED "The file 'SM206BW.icm' on Samsung Monitor installation disc is needed" then I put the disc in and choose that drive, and I still get an error message that says "the driver was not installed properly".
Has anyone seen this with their Samsung monitor? The monitor works perfectly fine, but EVERYTIME we restart the computer, this message comes up. It's rather annoying. I tried to install the driver from their website and I get the same messages.
I was told by someone at Samsung that we didn't even need to install the driver from the disc (which I didn't know at the time so I tried in to install it as I always have done with new hardware).
Any suggestions on how to get rid of this display message? Thanks!
