Hi all,
I've been having issues that began immediately following a reset to defaults after an overclock, I believe.
What happens is this:
I attempted to uninstall Chrome and boot again, but nothing would work at all. Reinstalled Chrome and ran CCleaner and Malwarebytes and restarted, and it went back to doing the same thing as before.
Does anyone have any suggestions? This is a peculiar issue to me, and I have no experience with anything like this.
Help is greatly appreciated!
I've been having issues that began immediately following a reset to defaults after an overclock, I believe.
What happens is this:
- I start the computer.
- No start-up programs seem to load, Skype, Steam, etc...
- If I right click on the desktop, the context menu shows semi-transparent and clicking on something does nothing.
- If I click on the Start button, it is semi-functional, but most programs won't open.
- If I click on shortcuts in the taskbar, most programs won't open, the few that do are essentially unresponsive.
- If I click on Google Chrome, suddenly Windows acts as if I just started the computer and everything loads up like normal.
I attempted to uninstall Chrome and boot again, but nothing would work at all. Reinstalled Chrome and ran CCleaner and Malwarebytes and restarted, and it went back to doing the same thing as before.
