Your comparing like last generations almost highest end card to the lowest end card available right now. The x850xt would knock the socks off of the x1300 no questions asked.

X850xt was once almost the best card for ATI, x1300pro is one of the bottem cards for the x1k series. And no dont wait for a directx10 card who knows when they'll come out. Plus, you can grab a nice x850xt for only 145 bucks.

Ya don't wait for direct x 10 for the same price you would be buying another low end card. Just look at teh comparison between the two cards, the x850xt over doubles the x1300 3dmark score that really says quite a bit.

Yea I just bought the sapphire x850Xt, an msi mobo and a amd x2 4200+ off NEWEGG. Can't wait three days. Gonna be f'in amazing compared to my p.o.s. now (9800pro 1.8ghz 2500+)

There's no point in waiting for DX10 cards to come out. They aren't going to be compatible with the latest games until you give it a little time for it to settle in. It's the same with Dual-Core CPU's really. They aren't being utilized to their full performance, as not many applications are written to function with 2 cores

Sweet, that will be nice, do you have some good ram? Thats an important part to have some good dual channel ram with a good gaming comp like that.

I mean like value ram or like high quality ram, the timings on the latencies can make a difference in performance. But even with value ram you should be ok.

The difference is barely noticable in most tasks, however if you're overclocking you will notice more of an improvement.

Oh thats pretty good, just kind of wondering, ya but don't listen to anybody saying the x1300 is better, they're just dumb. The x850xt is an excellent card that you will be very happy with.
