XFX Geforce 8800GTX

Just before i empty my pockets...

Can you tell me if this card:

Would fit in this motherboard:

Asus ABN SLI-PREMIUM (dont think its on the market anymore - try a google search)

Im 99.9% sure, as my board has a PCIe slot and i've run several cards with it just none this good. Any other info is greatly appreciated. PSU: 500w, CPU: althon64 4600+ x2.

Nice one for the help guys. Yeah, i've got a huge case so i should be fine. Do you know if this is a particularly power hungry card? And if its good? (i've only heard posotive things about it)

That 500W PSU is cutting it close with the GTX...get the 8800GT, it's almost a good, and less power hungry/big.

Here's the minimum power requirements:

Minimum of a 450 Watt power supply. (Minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 30 Amp Amps.)

Any ideas how the 8800gt handles games? for example cod4, oblivion, crysis etc etc. I did consider this card (it seems a bit more realistic for my setup - i dont have a super computer!)

I run Crysis at 1024x768 with 8xAA and everything on Medium and it's flawless. I can't be bothered with constant fiddling but it's probably possible to run it with better graphical settings also with what I have it looks great to me. COD4 is not a problem with everything on high.
