YAY I'm at 3GHZ!!! What are acceptable temperatures?

Eeeks! Right now, there is a difference of 17*C! I'm sure my computer would've made some noise when I was playing UT2004 just 2 hours ago, since I've set it to alert me (in the BIOS) when it hits 60*C. It's at 50*C now... I don't think those readings are right...

EDIT: Ok, Speedfan / Easy Tune 5 reports 34*C. Intel TAT reports 50*C. My BIOS reports 39*C. Hmmmmm....

gee, I think the BIOS would be the most trustworthy, but yet easy tune is made from the people who supply your motherboard, and yet TAT is made from the people who make your CPU........very odd....
 
Haha, yeah I know. Very confusing, and annoying. It makes me kinda paranoid. I'm wondering whether to buy a Zalman CNPS9500LED HSF now... :(
 
Yes that is a very nice cooler. I like the design. Very ergonomic for the computer if you know what I mean.
 
So? Right now I have the thermaltake Extreme Sprint 2 on my NB. Pure copper with 2 heatpipes and 19 dBA fan. Purrfect for overclocking. :)
