yet another thread with questions about my new power supply

i still dont understand lol. why does my (near) top-of-the-line psu not have more A on the 12V+ rail lol. i would think that it should be around 25-30, and that would be baseline
Your power supply has 4 individual +12V rails, each rated for 18A. These provide a total of 57A over the +12V rails. It is split over the 4 rails primarily to conform to Intel's 240VA requirement, which basically means that no individual +12V rail is allowed to provide more than 20A, supposedly for safety reasons. Splitting the rails also helps to prevent spikes on one rail from affecting devices connected to another rail.
 
oh oh ok. so the ones with 35A on 12V actually means they have quite a few cables, all together they = 35A?
