HI, What are your opinions on this card.

Now I am starting to realy become a gamer, if that matters. But I am tring to keap it low in price.

For gamming that card not going to be able to handle much. I would save your money up till you can get something better. What do you have now? Is there a reason you chose a pci card like you dont have a agp slot. or do you have a agp slot?

I'm sorry but, that is one of the worst cards you could ever buy. Ever..

64 Bit pci crap!

wow realy ok then why dont you suggest some. PCI cause I dont have agp slot. and below 50 dollers. oh and the games are going to be like halo and tribes vengeance. Thanks

You really have very limited options with PCI. I gussing your computer pretty old also. If I was you I would save up till you had $70 and get this card http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=14-139-143&depa=1. the geforce fx 5200 not a great card but it will at least allow you to play any game on lowest settings and it is 128bit and have 128 ram. I could not bring my self to recommend anything lower then this for the purpose of gamming.

on my old computer I put a geforce fx 5200(this was a pretty big upgrade for my computer since what it had in it was a tnt-2 16mb) so I could play games until I got a new computer. This at least got KOTOR and a few other games to work on it which was my goal.

I think thats a fairly old video card.
Fairly is putting it lightly

IMO yer asking way too much for $50

Dang I have $350 but I dont want to spend it all on a card. I guess I could spend like 70 for that one card. Enyone got a good card for sale so I dont have to pay 100 when you could sell me one for 50.

Whats the rest of the system you are considering for $350 ... and what do you expect to be able to really do with this computer? :)

No I already have a system I just want to upgrade my video card and ram. And I usualy play games and somtimes I do 3d work(but hardly ever) and just serf the web.

That is a nice card, and I have 256 and Im going to get another 256 to make a total of 512. And I dont realy know what mobo I have but my pc is an emachine t2824.

I can tell you this much, no pci card will get you halo etc playable.

You need to go agp, and the only way to do that is by replacing that motherboard, that most likely means new cpu & memory as well.

Why don't you give us your specs, but for what you ask I'd say a rebuild is in place here..

(Edit: You are running a Celeron D 2.53 GHz 553 fsb cpu which can be used on a new better motherboard)

(tell me this is a good card)

pci MX4000?

I'm sorry but don't get your hopes up for Halo, even if it would be able to play it you won't be able to see all the visual effects. If I'm not mistaken that's a DX7 card.

Not wanna sound like a downer here but that's just the way it is. :)

OMG I just tried it on halo, those are some of the best ****ing graphics I have ever seen!!!!!!!!!!!!!
