TF2 seem's pretty popular?
It's cheap on steam, worth getting? the graphics draw me in somehow. Steam has the scout update aswell........ Im utter cr@p @ CSS so how would I do with TF2?
Even worth bothering? lol
With TF2 you require CSS basic skill to be really good, you need not that much to be able to play and survive. Because it is cartoony, not that accurate, it is really fun but also when you find a class that you can work with, it is great!!
It isn't all just running around and shooting, there aren't any classes even similar to what you do in CS.
Scout, run around as fast as you can and try to shoot people. Use your agility to your advantge.
Medic, You dont attack alot, instead get points from assists by healing people. uber charge is also really fun, makes an ally who you use it on invincible for a bit.
Spy, try to be...spy like, skulking around, trying not to be found out, using enemy medics to your advantage...then turning on em.
Heavy, lumber around with your massive gun, using your imba health and huge, rapid gun to your advantage.
Sniper...i dont need to say.
Engineer. Build a sentry gun and then let it do your bidding while you help others by making teleports for em and vendors, for allies and yourself.
It isn't just run around and face rape though, like most steam games, people have managed to cutomize the game types. There are your normal CTF, death match etc, but there are acchievement servers, which help you with acchievements on certain classes, zf, which is zombie...something, can't remember what the f stands for...but its zombies!!!
It is really fun and worth it. I got it about 3 weeks ago because 2 of my friends play it and i was thinking "hey, for £13 if i get a month play time out of it, this is a good buy" I got it with orange box, i already had portal because i love it so much so lost out a little with that, but still, i got tf2 and after 3 weeks i'm thinking that "month" could turn into "6 months, a year, 2 or 3 years" because of the class packs.
