$600 could get you a decent rig provided you already have your own monitor.
Sadly enough.....
Actually, he said 650 without monitor, so thats a little better.

Plus, it costs way less to build your own and you get better reliability because you have better quality parts than a premade.
Ok he said we could build it as long as we got parts from this store http://www.computersonics.com/
how does this compare to newegg

Asrock mobo may sound like an off brand, but, asrock is a subsidiary of asus. Ati video card because the board supports crossfirex, and 700W psu to handle another 4870 if you add one down the road If you wanna spend a little more on the mobo though, go for one of these:

Are those prices with 1 or 2 video cards? And thanks you pulled through for me.
One video card, with room to add another down the road.(Ex- powerful enough psu, roomy enough case, crossfire compatible motherboard, etc)
And heatsink is powerful enough for OC?
*Checks sig* It runs my Quadcore intel fine at 3.95Ghz... One of the best heatsinks for the money(competes with the TRUE and V8 which are twice its price or more.)
Haha thanks man your awesome. You should be a moderator.
Haha...i wish... But just to add, if you want a slightly better case and keep the asrock mobo(although i would highly recommend going to one of the better ones), there should be just enough room after rebates to upgrade to this case:

I would try to see if you cant up the budget just enough to get the above case and either the asus or gigabyte mobo also.
Is the difference significant?
And what monitor would you recommend?
In the case? Just a little more room/airflow and a side window. The mobo, yes, the gigabyte or asus would have better quality components etc and worth the premium. What price/size monitor you looking for?
Atleast like a 1900 somethin by X resolution. Thats about it.
