Normally it's about 6MB/s download and I am downloading something at the moment so that may have affected the speed.
Yeah up north. Go to this http://store.virginmedia.com/review-basket put your postcode in and see if you can get cable speeds!
Typed in my postcode and sadly I can't. Too rural I guess?
Currently with PlusNet and it's OK but would be nice to have faster broadband. The cables themselves are limiting us though.

I just watched an AOL commercial on YouTube from 1999, apparently these new 56k connections are faster than ever! Maybe you should it out?

Nah you don't. He's with TalkTalk - probably the worst ISP in the UK. Everybody I know here who has been with TalkTalk has hated it.
