Theres already a thread about ATI and nVidia.

But what they hey, my vote goes to nVidia for the G80.
 
yeh i know there is, but it was started in 2004 and there has been many changes and upgrades since then so people have changed over etc so interesting to see if the % marks still go the same way now
 
I voted for nvidia just because I have an nvidia video card :P

I have voted ATi for the future. I think their merge with AMD will cause them to make some great cards. :)
 
im rocking the ATI but soon will be with the nvidia. i didnt know anything about graphics cards until a little while ago and i know that i need to rock the nvidia! yeahhhhhh!!!!!
 
i mean i know theres already a sticky about this, but thats from years ago, and its interesting to see how far ATI have come especially since joining forces with AMD, i mean the votes already show ATI's progress now over nvidia

Yes but I've yet to see a poll like this not grounded on a fanboy basis. The G80 is superior atm and we will have to wait to see what the R600 can bring to the table before judging who's the leader of the DX10 accelerators.
 
I'm a Nvidia guy so I'm thinking that Nvidia is going to win but the AMD ATI merger must be a big concern for Nvidia

So far, a lot.

However what they've been working on is all behind the scenes stuff, and we as consumers can't tell what exactly there working on, but we know AMD and ATI are working on a processor that integrates a GPU as one of the cores.
 
Again, everyone is basically saying what there a fanboy of. The facts are that nVidia has the best performing video card out right now, the 8800GTX. Soon ATI will (maybe), be on top, who knows. But for now, nVidia is the best.
 
im not asking who has the most powerful im asking wat is the most popular and if they are a fanboy therefore they bought that GPU because thats the one they wanted, you are not gonna buy ATI and vote for nvidia are you. Therefore if there are more fanboys of ATI than nvidia that means ATI is more popular. The vote is made as soon ad you make that purchase at the till. and lmao at person who said what greater progress they made lol, i suggest u got to AMD's site and take a read:P and thats not even 1% of what they are doing compared to what they are doing undercover
