Desktops today can't use more than 4GB (sometimes 3GB), so 8GB wouldn't even make sense. And I don't think you can get regular desktop DIMMs that come in that density.

Umm... yah, no. My MOBO supports 8GB total, using 4 sticks of 2GB modules.

You cannot run more than 1 monitor using SLI. And you don't need special ram, that's just advertising crap.

you can get them in 2gb densities. i have found a couple. there are rare i will admit, but they are there. one brand i think was king....something.i forgot.

Connect two monitors.

You should be able to do both if you get the dual ports, you'll be able to connect two monitors that way and you can run it from the same computer.

Umm....yah, no. Your motherboard might support it, but your operating system (Windows I'm assuming?) will not.

Actualy I think XP lets you use up to 16GB but I am not sure.
