I want to learn more about computers in general. I consider myself a knowledgeable source for computer related material. Don't ask me what I want to learn because I don't have an answer. Just a source to learn.
Buying a laptop. Its good enough. Intel® Pentium Dual Core Processor T2370 (1.73Ghz, 533 MHz FSB, 1 MB L2 cache) or Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T5550 (1.83 GHz, 667 MHz FSB, 2 MB L2 cache)
I know the answer is obvious but is dual 2 core worth €60 more. Budget laptop:€500 so far.
Where can I learn C++ online? I have tried wikibooks but that has a lot of missing stuff.
Is there any comprehensive guides that are quite easy to follow?
Go to Computer, look at the top of the screen with a row of buttons, go to System properties. Click on Windows Experience Index and then View software for my base score. It takes you to microsofts site, you can click on games and see some. Hope that helps.
Thanks again. I have MS Office. I am also young and can apparently learn faster (good for me). I am very dedicated to learning this and expanding my knowledge.
Thanks for helpful help.
Just have some questions.
Do you know any good free ways to learn C++?
What's Visual C++?
How long would it take to learn?
and
What is C#?
Hope someone can help me again.
I don't know what to do? What do I want to learn? Whats a base language to making programs and stuff like games. Is it C, C#, C++, BASIC, what???
So much time, so little learning. I know I could study Shakespeare but who needs to?
No. I want to learn. Basic of basic but not the language BASIC. I started c. I know non-related stuff like html, xhtml and languages like that. I want to keep the information in my head if I get a job doing this stuff(half-joke(not really))
If all else fails, try major recovery: take the platter out of one and put it into another. I want to try that. The only thing is, you need 2 of the same hdd which shouldn't be a problem.
