    help video card issue

Even new stuff can be defective. ;) Plus a cheap or faulty power supply can destroy a graphics card. Or not putting enough power to the graphics card. Just throwing stuff out there. Anyway, in the BIOS, you'll just have to look around for it.

    xfx 5970 BE card dying?

Eh, Physx is an nVidia brand. I don't think you can use a card for Physx if you have an ATI graphics card...?

I've seen boards with no graphics built in, but never one without sound. ;) The Bloodrage was a nice board, made by a big name manufacturer, plus it's an X-58 board with triple channel memory. Not many X-58 boards under $200 yet. :D The ASRock is a budget brand, compared to other bigger...

    xfx 5970 BE card dying?

Nice rig. :good: How can you play a game and watch a bluray at the same time...? Anyway, sounds to me like an issue with your Physx card, or the way your system is configured to run it.

    help video card issue

How old is the video card? They can fail with time. Sounds to me like it's had enough. :( Do you have another gpu to test with? Also, in your BIOS, you can set to "HALT ON ALL ERRORS", which will pause the Blue Screen error message, so you can write it down.

Cannot remove DNS 10 from Vista

Ccleaner will backup and fix your registry, which will remove all traces of uninstalled programs. Which is why linkin suggested it...

There's no reason 64bit should not work. Where does it say your CPU is x86?

I have a theory and question about all three operating systems, windows xp, 7 & vista

Right now my Windows 7 is using 0 Mhz "just to run". :D Vista is faster than 7 on my computer. 7 boots faster, but functionally, Vista is quicker.

I would stay away from Samsung drives honestly. This is a good drive, for cheap: Seagate ST3500418AS Benchmarks: You don't need that 6 core processor either.

PLEASE don't waste money on a VelociRaptor... They're not much faster than 7200rpm drives, sadly.

    Why is my computer slow?

Thanks for humoring me. :good: Couple things: 1. How many processes are running in your Task Manager? 2. Is all of your RAM showing up in Windows System Properties?

    Why is my computer slow?

Better than what? It's not a performance drive, is all I was saying. Because it's quality means it couldn't be going out? Please check: CrystalDiskMark

Help me fix my installation fail?

GParted will most certainly let you resize the partition. It's all I use for partition management. I use a Ubuntu live disk. I downloaded the image free and burnt it to a disc. Very handy.
