I just found out today that I should technically be using the 64 bit version of Home Premium Sp1 since T7400 processor upgrade in my D620 will support it. Does anybody happen to have the reinstall iso for 64 bit Home Premium they could message me a link to? Windows turned off their servers...

EDIT: I solved this issue by installing Windows 7 directly onto the external HDD with the WAIK method.

The internal hard drive on my Latitude had crashed and instead of purchasing an internal HDD replacement, my wife came home with Seagate's 1TB Expansion+ USB 2.0/3.0 drive. Am I able to install an operating system on this drive and have it act as portable? If so, how would I go about doing...

Your current configuration should be more than enough to run what you need to run. I use some pretty resource intensive programs on this machine and it's ancient by today's standards. I'd focus on the quality of display, tbh. My two cents.
