Certain MBB's allow you to use a specific key to turn on/off your PC. My latest build the USB ports are always on which is nice when you need to charge the Ipod and such.

As long as the USB ports stay powered on when the PC is off it will work, just enable it in BIOS.

Ditch the PS and Vid card, much better out there.

If you didn't break any pins it shouldnt hurt. I had that happen once, bent some pins, straightended back out with a thin CC and was good to go.

Or go DL a NoCd crack, works just as well.
