wow so are you saying the HD3870 has more pratical use or performance than the HD4850. I have the 3870 right now and I want to know if its worth to upgrade to the 4850? (or would i be downgrading) If i get I new card I'm not spending more than $200

I updated the Bios to F13q and my whole setup runs like a charm, no bottlenecking seen anywhere so go ahead and give it a try. I do recommend upgrading RAM to 2GB or 3.5GB and having a sufficient power supply. By looking at what you already have in your sig I think you should be fine.
