Alright, that's what i was most worried about. Also the graphics card says its overclocked, i have no idea if that's gonna cause problems or not?Shouldn't need an adapter as that psu should have 2 6-8pin pci express power connectors.
Thanks, i have one last question though. My computer has integrated graphics and i read that i would need to disable them if im gonna get my new graphics card to work, is this true? and if so how do i disable them? Anyways thanks for all the help .It's a minor factory overclock to get a little more performance over standard models, you will be fine.
No problem, let us know when you get it up and running or if you have any other questions. The graphics card came in today and it fit just fine, only thing im waiting on now is the power supply. Thanks for all the help.
Ehm, what happens if I don't plug something in or plug something into the wrong thing ....No problem, let us know when you get it up and running or if you have any other questions.
The computers not even attempting to turn on please helpEhm, what happens if I don't plug something in or plug something into the wrong thing ....
When I press the power button nothing happens at all, I don't hear any fans, its almost like I don't even have the PSU plugged in at all. When you power on the machine do you get any lights or cpu fan spin?
They seem secure to me but nothing is happeningYou got the 24 pin main connector and 4/8 pin cpu connector attached to the motherboard securely? If not, you won't get anything.
That's my problem, it won't turn on, it won't do anything at allWhat happened when you turned the computer on?
I don't know where to check for thatIs the front panel power button connected to the motherboard properly? Negative and positive are correct?
Well I honestly think I just hooked something up wrong because I just tried to turn in on again and something blinked. Can you hook up the old power supply to confirm it still works? The new power supply may be bad.
