Bioshock Settings

Just want to get an idea what type of settings people are playing Bioshock on... What res, and with things do you have disabled, like the shaders and stuff like that...

I play @ 1024 x 768, with the high dynamic shaders disabled and 8x AA and x16AF...

What about you guys?

I played the demo at 11__ x 9__ (Blanks mean I can't remember exactly) with all the setting tuned to high, except the force global lighting one, whatever that does. Got around 18 to 30 Fps, only going lower when there were many splicers on screen. No AA or AS obviously.

Yes, this means I still haven't gotten the game yet, poor me...

:D

What GPU do you have?

i had been playing at 1600x1200 with everything up full basically.

Very Nice, What GPU do you have Jimmy?

1680/1050, full settings

2xAA 8xAF (toms hardware says its best filter/performance ratio)

Everything turned on?

1920x1200 high high high, vsync disabled, forced max AA and HDR

Dude, I'm not surprised, lucky .... :P

1280x1024.... maxed out everything.... usually get 60-80FPS.

AA and AF too?

--------------------------

I don't know why, but when I play at 1280 x 1024, and have everything turned on to high and turned on, it gets a bit laggy, it shouldn't be doing this should it?

my laptop can run it max with the 8600gt so you should have no problem.

Turn 'em down if your having lag issues. AA and AS isn't all that needed in Bioshock; higher resolutions reduce the need for AA and tight confined quarters don't benefit from AS as much as say, Oblivion.

AF doesnt take a performance hit barely. 16x wont drop you much but 8x looks close enough to 16x

CAN ANY1 EXPLAIN WHY KOF'S SIG SAID RETIRED AT 26???
