coolermaster v8 and v10 price lowered!!!!!

Duuuuuuuuudeeee... come on! I wanted that V8, but it was out of budget so I got the Dark Knight. Now they're the same price?!
 
The V8 is a nice cooler but it doesn't perform above average.

The V10 is a monstrosity, and I would not want that thing
hanging off of my cpu. You'd have to tie it to the top of your
case to take the weight off the socket. :eek: I would anyway.
 
holy crab apple, I have never seen that v10 before, that thing is HUGE, wow, I was looking at the v8 earlier but I don't think it'd suit me.

Watch the V10 review by 3dGameman, it shows all the different features that the megahalems doesn't have. (The features that don't make it a COMPLETE waste of money)

Let me think of a few things.

1- Its heavy enough to bend motherboard(Thats an excellent PLUS point)
2- It has a tec that does pretty much no cooling and hinders performance (even better)
3- It is a "memory cooler"(ive seen ddr3 without heatspreaders that didnt get very warm, so its totally unnecessary


Yup, all great + marks. Performance is everything, and the megahalems perform the best overall.

i think someone is a little jealous that they dont have one. jk, but there are heatsinks out there that weigh more than these.
 
Yeah that is crazy fan.

I do not think it would make a difference. The heatsink can only dissipate so much heat and the 130cfm fan would max out the heatsink.
 
I have no experience with prolimatech megahalems heatsink it was not included in my research. I would say that it has alot of good after looking at it but it is not a direct touch heatsink so I would like to see a comparison. More cooling pipes does not mean it is better. I went through this before with my previous cooler that had six heatpipes and not direct touch so I have to stick with my current opinion. I challenge you to prove me wrong. I believe my combo would be the best! I may be wrong but this is my conclusion after research.

Coolermaster V8 is not better.

V10 is a joke. I wouldn't want that piece of junk anywhere near my cpu.

The V8 is a completely different story. I want....
