I thought it would make it a bit easier for people to see if I just made a new thread. Here are some of the benchmarks i've ran so far using my overclocked Core 2 Duo and 8800GTS.

sweet scores, your making me really want to get my new system.... im hoping to break 25K on 06 at least... especially with quad core and SLI/crossfire

It cost me $1,350 for everything except the CPU and X-Fi (already had those).

If you want to break 25K you would need dual 8800GTX's and the Quad extreme...

:duh: did you not read my other thread? im either going to SLI 8800GTXs/8900GTXs or crossfire two R600's and get the newer quad with the 1333MHZ FSB

The R600's are going to be insanely expensive, I havent heard an exact price, but i'm going to say around $800 a piece.

And if you want the 1333Mhz FSB CPU, right now the only mobo that supports it is the 680i chipset.

rumored 512-bit true memory interface, at 2.5ghz... 1gb total...
specs are on wikipedia, and details.
its supposed to released Q1 2007

ehh my 7800gt is fine for now, im gonna get an ATI tv card first then save for a new video card and w/e else...

Run HD Tune and we'll see whos is faster

Of course, just like a couple months ago I had a P4 2.2 and FX5600, then upgraded to a Sempron 2500+, woot!

Yes I did, but that was back when I had my A64 and x800GTO, way before my P4 2.2 and FX5600
