CPU overheat problem.

If you have time, you should but here some good GPU ( cheapest and good performance). And PSU too.

Kinda depends on your budget, but here we go:

PSUs:

Corsair CX430M: $55 / Corsair CX500M: $70 / Corsair CX600M: $80 depending on which GPU/CPU solution you chose.

GPUs:

When on a budget, you obviously don't want the highest priced GPUs, so these are generally good performance/price, but as I said, it depends on your budget and which CPU you've chosen.
Don't want any bottlenecking to occur.

AMD HD 7770
AMD HD 7850
NVIDIA GTX 760

Can't believe people here haven't stated to check the obvious first before going and saying to buy this, but that... You just recently changed your power supply, meaning you moved your system around quite a bit. You may have flipped it on its side rolled it over on the ground, who knows what you may have done to it but you did have to move it to change out the power supply. Then after restarting and playing around with settings you are now overheating, even back at default settings for your CPU. There's a chance it could be your motherboard, but it's always good to check a few things first.

With the computer shut down (of course), remove the heatsink. Clean off all the old thermal paste from CPU and the heatsink then re-apply thermal paste. A BB sized drop will be enough to spread on the CPU. DO not use your bare finger to spread the thermal paste. I've used a zip lock back wrapped around my index finger to spread thermal paste. Do NOT over do it as some thermal paste is conductive and can cause issues. Anyways, reinstall heatsink and make sure the clips are attached.

If you have the funds, then go for it. But is always nice to know if your old equipment is working properly or not so you can sell it on ebay if you want.

But I wondered here, if my BIOS setups shows me, that CPU shut down temp. is 90°C then why my PC didn't shut down, when my CPU temp. was 100°C?

Well he currently has a dual core, so figured a quad core would work out for him.

That was for his benefit not yours. :P I understand why you did that but if he wanted to spend extra money on more power that was the next step up.

But wait, six cores and only about 10 dollars between quadra and six? :D maby I will take six cores then :) Thank you Denther
