Just get the i7 920, the 920 is a better cpu to begin with. 1156 is the lower/midrange product while 1366 is the mainstream/enthusiast/server platform.

Yes, the 920 will be perfect for that motherboard.

I fixed bomberboy's comment about the range of the platforms.

I would choose anything by Western Digital from that page that's a "Black" drive. Seagate would be my next choice, but not a 7200.11

No, except the 7200.11's had firmware issues that are said to be resolved, but personally, I wouldn't buy one.

Totally agree with you on that front, my 7200.11's were plagued with issues and eventually got seagate to replace them with 7200.12's, far better drives.
